Our top priority
We are committed to creating opportunities for all Dayforce employees, and we work every day to make progress and deliver on that commitment. Our people make our organization stronger, more creative, and more resilient. We recognize and value these strengths, and we strive to nurture them with policies and programs designed to encourage growth and wellness.
Culture and belonging
We aim to cultivate an inclusive workplace in which every employee is empowered to grow, develop, and contribute meaningfully. Our Culture and Belonging strategy has three pillars: Development, Empowerment, and Belonging. By promoting a sense of belonging and embracing diverse perspectives, we aim to create an environment in which every Daymaker feels valued, respected, and inspired to innovate and collaborate.
We expanded Connect Communities to better support our virtual workforce clusters, which exist alongside our voluntary employee-led Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). Connect Communities and ERGs are open to all employees. We launched the Global Movement Pledge with supplemental exercise and physical wellness activities, and we also offered a dedicated program to raise awareness of and improve the mental wellness of our employees. Dayforce’s School of Culture and Belonging delivers programming and training solutions to help employees grow as professionals. We also offer resources to educate employees on global cross-cultural differences which enable better collaboration internally and with our customers.

Health and well-being
We each require a solid foundation of health and well-being to be our best selves. To help our employees, we’ve established a wide range of programs to offer variety and convenience in our always-on world, including fitness reimbursements, wellness days, and mental health resources.
Our Global Crisis Management Team uses the AlertMedia emergency notification system to effectively communicate with potentially impacted employees before and during major events.
Benefits
Dayforce’s benefits options support our employees during every stage of their lives. In the last year, we made new benefits available to Daymakers to help improve their overall health and wellness as well as support them as individuals, parents, spouses, and caretakers. This included specialized programs for colleagues with autoimmune conditions, those who will work with a doula as part of their parenting journey, and targeted clinical care for women’s health issues at each life stage.
Recognizing that financial health is directly connected to physical and mental health, we added an emergency savings account option to our retirement plans as well as the ability for victims of domestic violence to make penalty-free withdrawals to help ensure their safety. Additionally, we added discounted identity and online privacy protection for employees and their families.
Talent
In this era of profound workplace transformation, the ability to effectively attract and retain top talent is perhaps more important to organizational success — and more challenging — than ever before.
In 2024, the Early Talent Intern program was a notable part of our talent acquisition strategy, and it played a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce. From 2022 to 2024, we proudly hired over 1,000 interns globally who make our organization better and more successful through their creativity, innovation, and diverse perspectives. More than half were ultimately hired as Daymakers, and in 2024 we built on this success by expanding our internship program beyond North America.
We encourage consistent, ongoing communication and two-way feedback between employees and their leaders throughout the year. To support these efforts, we have a robust performance management process with three formal touchpoints for employees and their leaders each year. This allows them to set annual goals, discuss performance expectations, establish plans for their professional and career development, and monitor progress and performance. In 2024, more than nine in 10 Daymakers received feedback in our annual lookback touchpoint and nearly 80% created forward-looking individual development plans. In addition, nearly 90% of Daymakers were assessed as part of our talent planning processes, generating a pipeline of talent to grow the success of our people and our organization.
Leadership and learning development
At Dayforce, we aim to create a culture of continuous learning and empowerment in which our employees are provided many opportunities to enhance their skills. We offer a robust array of learning opportunities for Daymakers, combining core required courses with optional on-demand and live instructor-led courses. In addition to specific development programs for individuals, we provide targeted development workshops such as Understanding Individual Communication Styles and Building Team Effectiveness.
In 2024, we conducted nearly 30 targeted development sessions with over 200 participants, and colleagues from around the globe participated in over 240,000 hours of professional and career development learning and growth opportunities. We invest in the continued professional development of our employees through tailored programs at different stages of their career journeys.
