How Dayforce Discover 2026 will help leaders redesign work for what’s next

When organizations are being asked to do more with less, every event has to earn its place on the calendar. Eric Glass, our Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, shares how Dayforce Discover 2026 will help leaders redesign work, sharpen priorities, and return ready to act.

One of the best parts of hosting the Dayforce podcast Piece of Work is hearing directly from customers, industry experts, and business leaders about today’s biggest workforce challenges.

Organizations are moving faster. There’s less room for error. AI is changing how work gets done. Compliance is getting more complex. Employees expect more from their work experience. And leaders are being asked to make better decisions in an environment where the old playbooks don’t always apply.

We call this the Reinvention of HR: a once-in-a-career moment for leaders to step forward, redesign how work gets done, and help their people do the work they’re meant to do.

When teams are stretched and budgets are under pressure, events like this can feel discretionary.

I see it differently.

In lean, uncertain times, the right in-person experiences become more important, not less. But only if people leave with something they can apply directly to their work.

That’s the bar we set for Dayforce Discover 2026. Every session, conversation, and hands-on experience is designed to help leaders rethink priorities, redesign work, and return with practical next steps.

For four days at Wynn Las Vegas, Discover will focus on what leaders need most right now: a clear view of where Dayforce is headed, hands-on product learning, executive perspective, peer connection, and practical ways to redesign work inside their organizations.

That’s the experience we’re working to create throughout the event.

See how Dayforce is helping organizations redesign work

One of the things that makes Dayforce Discover different is how our executive keynotes bring the Dayforce product and strategy to life. That level of access is rare.

David Ossip, our Founder and CEO, doesn’t just talk about innovation from a distance. He gets into the product, shows what it can do, and answers customer questions live, so attendees can see how innovation turns into action.

When was the last time you saw a CEO do that?

Joe Korngiebel, our Chief Strategy, Product, and Technology Officer, brings the same clarity to how we build. He connects what customers are asking for with where the platform is headed, showing not just what’s new, but how it helps and where it can take organizations next.

Learn by doing

Attendees come to Discover with real questions.

How can we get more value from Dayforce? Where can we simplify? What should we automate? How can we use data differently? How do we redesign work for the future?

Discover is built to help answer those questions through practical experiences like:

  • Dayforce FIT: Pre-conference, hands-on product training tracks for Dayforce power users, with small class sizes and dedicated instruction from subject matter experts.
  • Breakout sessions: Over 100 sessions focused on workforce strategy, workforce management, payroll, AI, talent development, compliance, employee experience, and HR technology.
  • Hands-on Labs: Guided, interactive sessions where attendees can build skills, try practical scenarios, and learn by doing.
  • Product Spotlights: A closer look at specific Dayforce capabilities, product innovations, and the thinking behind what we’re building.
  • The Customer Support Zone: Direct access to support experts who can answer questions, share best practices, and help troubleshoot real challenges.
  • Certification opportunities: Opportunities for attendees to earn SHRM, Payroll.org, and HRPA credits in eligible sessions.
  • The Dayforce Exploration Expo: Product demos, expert conversations, and partner connections that help attendees explore what’s possible across the Dayforce ecosystem.
Together, these experiences are designed to help attendees turn questions into action, with product knowledge they can put to work when they get home.

Hear from leaders who can expand the conversation

Product access and practical learning are a big part of Discover. But perspective matters, too.

That’s why I’m especially excited that Brené Brown is joining us as a keynote speaker.

I had the chance to interview Brené two years ago, and the response from our community was clear. Her message made a profound impact. So, we wanted to go deeper.

This year, she’ll join us at a time when leaders are guiding their organizations through constant change. Her perspective on courageous leadership, clarity, and purpose feels especially relevant now.

Because the reinvention happening across HR isn’t just about technology. It’s about people. It’s about trust. It's about helping organizations move faster without losing sight of what makes work meaningful.

Make the right connections

One of the things I value most about Dayforce Discover is the community.

This isn’t an event for one role or one function. It brings together people across HR, payroll, HRIS, workforce management, total rewards, talent, IT, finance, operations, and our partner community.

That mix matters because the biggest workforce challenges rarely belong to one team, and neither do the solutions.

Payroll accuracy. HR technology optimization. Employee experience. AI readiness. Workforce planning. These are enterprise challenges, and they require cross-functional conversations.

This year, we’re making networking more intentional so attendees can find the right conversations, not just the nearest ones. We’ll help make those connections through curated conversations in the Expo and by empowering attendees to schedule small-group conversations to compare approaches, share lessons learned, and discuss how leaders are redesigning work in real time.

Because sometimes the most valuable conversation at an event is the one you didn’t know you needed.

Turn inspiration into action

The best outcome from Dayforce Discover 2026 is clarity that carries beyond the event and helps you act faster.

Better questions. Stronger priorities. A clearer plan.

As you get ready for Discover, think about the work your organization needs to improve. Where are teams spending too much time? Where is complexity slowing people down? Where could AI, automation, data, and Dayforce innovation help work get done better?

Whether you attend on your own or with colleagues, come ready to bring something valuable back.

Not just inspiration. A plan.

In uncertain times, it can feel safer to stay focused on today’s work. But the organizations that pull ahead are the ones that make time to design what comes next.

That’s what Dayforce Discover 2026 is designed to help you do.

I hope to see you at Wynn Las Vegas, October 26-29, as we come together to do the work we’re meant to do.
