Ceridian, a global human capital management technology company, today announced it has been named one of ‘Canada’s Top 100 Employers’ for the 16th consecutive year. Mediacorp chooses the Top 100 Employers annually based on a wide variety of criteria including a workplace’s culture, salary and benefits, vacation and leave policies, and community and charitable involvement.

“We’re committed to creating an enviable workplace culture where our people are engaged, productive, and happy,” said Leagh Turner, President, Ceridian. “For that reason, we design programs that go beyond the traditional and are inclusive and relevant, so that everyone can bring their best, whole selves to work every day."

“Looking at this year’s Top 100 Employers, we see organizations are increasingly dedicated to offering programs that promote a flexible and inclusive workplace culture or offer philanthropic initiatives,” says Richard Yerema, Managing Editor at Mediacorp Canada. “Ceridian scored very highly in these areas by thoughtfully considering the needs of their people, along with displaying a dedication to community involvement.”

The following 2018 initiatives and programs have contributed to Ceridian’s recognition as an employer of choice:

  • Ceridian Cares: Ceridian’s employee driven charity has raised 1.85 million dollars in Canada since its inception in 2013, helping families in need, and improving the communities in which Ceridian’s people live and work.
  • EDGE Certification: Ceridian was recognized globally as an EDGE certified organization for its continued commitment to gender equality in the workplace.
  • Time Away From Work: Ceridian’s new ‘Time Away from Work’ program invites people to take time off in a way that best suits their lifestyles instead of limiting vacation or personal days.
  • YOUnity: Ceridian is dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive work environment through ongoing programs, such as the Ceridian Women’s Network, Ceridian Black Employees Network, CeridianPRIDE and disABILITY@Ceridian.
