Ceridian, a global human capital management technology company, today announced that hundreds of retail brands worldwide have selected Dayforce HCM to manage their people and work. Ceridian and several Dayforce HCM retail customers will be at NRF 2018, the largest annual convention of its kind for the retail industry.

Ceridian’s growing family of retail clients – including well-known brands like DSW and 99 Cents Only Stores – are leveraging Dayforce HCM for their workforce needs. With Dayforce they are automating time-consuming human capital management processes while allowing managers to refocus on running their business with higher performance.

“Fundamental shifts in the world of work, such as compliance changes and a rise in on-demand workers, means that today’s retailers must transform their operational processes – including human capital capabilities – to ensure they meet the needs of the changing workforce,” said John Orr, Senior Vice President of Retail, Ceridian. “With the Dayforce cloud HCM platform, retailers can better manage organizational complexity, manage compliance, and increase employee engagement.”

“Partnering with Ceridian has been instrumental to our success. Using Dayforce, we are able to continually test new initiatives and gain further efficiencies as we continue to streamline processes within the application,” said Kari Harkins, Senior Director, Store Operations and Communications, DSW.

Multiple top analyst firms – including Nucleus Research, Gartner, Ventana and Sierra-Cedar– have praised the functionality, compliance, and user experience of Dayforce HCM in recent industry reports.

“Ceridian has built Dayforce HCM from its origins in workforce management, HR, and payroll into a full-breadth, full-fledged solution for [human capital management],” said Nucleus Research principal analyst Brent Skinner. “Compared to competing solutions, Dayforce has the most HCM functionality found in a single application.”
