Dayforce customer award 2025: Celebrating our first winner

Our customers do more than use Dayforce – they help build its future. At Dayforce Discover 2025, we introduced the inaugural Makes Work Life Better: Customer Award to celebrate the customers whose leadership, insight, and collaboration make work life better for all.

At Dayforce, our customers are at the heart of everything we do. From sharing their stories on stage to offering guidance as trusted references, they’re the advocates and ambassadors who bring our community to life. This year at Dayforce Discover 2025, we introduced a new way to honor that impact: the inaugural Makes Work Life Better: Customer Award. 

This award celebrates a member of the Dayforce customer community who leads with partnership in their own organisation and across the industry. It celebrates those who exemplify the Dayforce brand promise to make work life better. 

We are thrilled to recognise Evan Stroum, Senior Manager of HR Technology at Trident Foods, as our first award recipient. A Dayforce customer since 2014, Trident’s 11-year partnership – and Evan’s work within that – reflects the kind of collaboration and trust this award celebrates. 

Evan has been a tireless champion within the Dayforce customer community. He leads the U.S. Basecamp group, supports countless sales reference calls, and shares his expertise generously to help others succeed. Widely known as a trusted voice and collaborator, Evan has made a meaningful difference within his own organisation and across the broader HCM community. 

When asked about receiving the Makes Work Life Better: Customer Award 2025, Evan remarked, "Making work life better is at the forefront of everything I do, whether that's within our HR group at Trident or the HR leaders in the Dayforce community. This award is a meaningful recognition of that. And I'm excited to continue partnering with Dayforce.”
